Anonymous asked: "I’m sorry that I find British history interesting, watch a ton of Premier League and yeah, love the accent. " THAT'S YOU, YOU IDIOT. NOT THE WHOLE COUNTRY. Someone asked you if Americans "go crazy" over the British. YOU ANSWERED YES. THE COUNTRY DOES NOT. Stop acting like we give a shit! The Royal Wedding was a fucking joke! Stop making us seem like we're a...
Anonymous asked: You're that stupid that you equated that to that? Who the hell are you and why are you so stupid? Americans don't think twice about British people and when we happen to run into one, we send them to our nearest dentist! Anonymous asked: Why the hell did you tell someone Americans go crazy over the British? What America are you living in and why are you portraying us so horribly?

A New York City Transit Subway Conductor Answers... →
discoverynews:
This is fascinating.
Not only is this subway conductor full of statistics (136 people committed suicide on the subway tracks in 2010) but also full of movie knowledge (good horror subway flicks—Midnight Meat Train? Snakes On A Train?)

j-complex asked: I've been to New York only once, back in 2000, but I am so hooked. I mean, it's not even the statue of Liberty or the Empire State or Times Square. It's more like the feeling that the place makes me feel when I imagine it in my head or if I see pictures or watch movies. I love how NY is so captivating but at the same time unforgiving. It's actually my motivation to get through...

NYC is going to hell
rosinhabela:
My name is Kelly Schomburg, I’m the girl with the red hair in these pictures. So I obviously track the tag “New York City” on tumblr.. anyway, it’s so crazy to see people who are so passionate about living here, saying things like “i will get there!” and this sort of phrase.
It’s weird to me because I grew up around the city. In it, around it.. it’s just always been apparent to me that I’ll live here. And I’ve always...

Anonymous asked: this is a rather random question, but i'm writing a story set in nyc and, having never actually been there myself, i'm basically just reading all the wikipedia pages for it but i thought it might be a good idea to ask an actual new yorker. so, where are all the big firms located in? like law firms, architecture firms, etc, in all the towering office buildings- where would they be? thanks...
